TORIES TO FREEZE MINIMUM WAGE?

Its rumoured that the Tories intend to freeze the minimum wage from 2011.

Can they do this under European Law?

Two things Sir/Madam

1. Yes a government can freeze/suspend minimum pay.

2. They would have to be elected first and even a week is a long time in politics!

    Talking of a Minimum wage and wage cuts and the like that are supposed to ensure a steady economy etc… Which in theory I respect, however would it not be fair and just to have a Maximum wage, which if exceeded by too many people could in fact equally put our economy at risk. Perhaps a Maximum wage of £250.000 for 2010 would be fair and just. Is that possible to legislate for the sake of our country… not a lot to ask for is it?
